How to Make a Play-Up Request

The Citadel Futbol Club believes that most players will develop better at their age appropriate level than at an age level above. However, the club recognizes that, although rare, highly talented players may exist and we want to provide an opportunity to consider them for the next age level within the club’s player organization.

• Please carefully read the Citadel Futbol Club Playing Up an Age Level Approval Policy (see link below) for complete information on the application and consideration process. Requests will only be considered for the reasons listed in the policy; all other requests (car pool, play with friends, etc.) will automatically be denied.
• All current Citadel Futbol Club players wishing to play up an age level must submit the Playing Up an Age Level Application (see below) to the Citadel Director of Coaching Hani Rabi by May 15th 2007. Please follow the directions carefully and completely. Any forms received after this date will not be considered.
• The Citadel Director of Coaching will make the decision if a player will be allowed to try out for an older team based on an assessment and/or communication with the current coach. Players will be notified one (1) week prior to tryouts if their request has been approved or denied.
• If approved, the player will be required to try out out at their correct age group and the next level age group.
• Once tryouts are completed the Citadel Director of Coaching will make a decision based on what is best for the player and the club. All decisions are final. There is no appeal process.
