Alexis Royal, U11G
Lexy is an outstanding young lady that brings more than just her love for the game to the U11G team. She is a pivotal player that makes every player around her better. She participates in the Indiana ODP and takes advantage of any opportunity to improve. She recently returned to our team after an ankle injury and yielded a goal and an assist her first game back. Despite her injury she still made it to practice and games to support her teammates. She can play any position on the field and make an impact. She is a pleasure to have on the team and extremely fun to watch as a player. It is with great pleasure to name Lexy the 2008 June player of the month.

Ian Meyer, U13B
After suffering serious scrapes and bruises in his miraculous survival of being hit by an SUV, Ian attended tryouts only 3 weeks later where he showed well enough to make the U14B White team. He Then applied himself, still in great deal of pain, to training and preparing for the FWI, where he scored 5 goals in four games, including a game winner in our final match, and the game tying goal in the hardest fought contest match. Ian accomplished all of this while in pain from the injuries he had received, but did not complain, and did not shy from tackling hard or challenging for the ball. He walked off the field from all four games with a limp, but gamely came back and contributed to the U13B success each time.
