Pepsi League

Buddy began coaching in the Select League back in 1983 - 1988, when the league was brand new and known as the Pepsi League.




Fort Wayne Youth Select Soccer League (FWYSSL)

He joined the Select Board of Directors in 1996 as League Registrar, serving in this position for 10 years. During the 90's Buddy mentored several Citadel players, showing his support at regular season and tournament games. Combining his love of photography with his love of soccer, Buddy helped start the Game Day photo tradition that players and their parents look forward to each week. He's a familiar fixture at the fields, always ready with the golf cart to assist our Seniors and handicapped fans by transporting them out to the playing field.


Fort Wayne United Soccer Association (FWUSA)

Buddy has the distinction of being our first Hall of Famer! During his tenure with the club he has witnessed more than 6,000 FWUSA games (based on 38 Select games, 7 days per season, for the past 10 years; five years as a Select coach, two years as a Citadel parent, and multiple Fort Wayne Invitationals over the years). It's an impressive number. He has been instrumental in directing the Select division's 30% growth during the past decade, and has helped insure that the 1,200 players in the club have a place to play.
