Fort Wayne United Soccer Association (FWUSA) is proud to again host its Summer Camp Program. Geared for all levels of players, the camps are designed to be fun while learning a beautiful game. The FWUSA Summer Camps are under the direction of Citadel Futbol Club’s Director of Coaching Hani Rabi and staffed with some of the finest soccer coaches in the area.
This year we are once again holding camps for both field players and goalkeepers. Our Field Player Camps are divided into age groups to ensure age appropriate training. Goalkeepers have one of the toughest positions on the field, and they require specialized training to make the player their best. Ex-pro trainers will break down the techniques and skills necessary to excel at this position, from the earliest players through those playing high school. All camps are held at Kreager Park.
U14 and Under Camp- $90.00
July 7 - July 11 from 8-10:30 AM or 6:30-9PM
Offered morning or evening camps, campers will focus on: Dribbling, Basic Technique, Fast Footwork, Passing, Receiving, Beating an opponent, and Finishing. Please select morning or evening camp when registering.
U15 and Older Camp- $150
July 14- July 18 from 8-11:00 AM
Campers will focus on: 1v1 Defending, Cover & Switching Roles, Defensive Transition, Man to Man Defending, Zonal Defending, 1v1 Attacking, Offensive Transition, Penetration, Combination Play, Creating Space, Attacking with a numbers Advantage.
Basic Goalkeeper Camp - $90.00
July 7-11 from 5:00-6:30 PM
Campers will focus on: Fundamental catching, Saving low balls, Vertical Jump, Falling and Diving for Low Balls, Angle Play, and 1v1 Training.
Advanced Goalkeeper Camp $200.00
July 14-18 from 6-8 PM
Campers will focus on: Catching with “M” & “W”, Drills to increase vertical jump, Falling and diving for low balls, Power Diving (low & high), boxing height & distance, Angle Play, forward diving, Break away, Pressure training, and Distribution.
