Yes! We know kids want to play with their friends and we will make every effort to honor friend requests  - please note that we cannot place a player on a team with a full roster

Yes we offer a playdown provision! June and July birthdays who are in the same grade as their teammates can stay with their team 

Yes, any player can play up one age division with parental consent

These are grass fields owned and maintained by the City of Fort Worth

All games will be played on Saturdays and some Sundays 

Fall: August – November 

Spring: February – May

For the Fall 2026 season there will be no games played on Labor Day weekend or Fall Break weekend according to the FWISD Calendar

U4/U5 will play 6 total games per season

U6-U8 will play 8 total games per season – this includes a semi-final and/or championship game

U9-U11 will play 10 total games per season - this includes a semi-final and/or championship game

Yes! U6-U11 divisions will conclude with playoff and/or championship games to give players an exciting end to the season.

U4 – U6 will play 4 v 4 **all games played on ONE field only**

U7 will play 6 v 6

U8 – U9 will play 7 v 7

U10 – U11 will play 9 v 9

All games for all age divisions will be played on one field – this way coaches can focus their attention on player development 

Maximum roster sizes will be strictly adhered to unless the coach from the team provides a written request to add a player 

In the event of severe weather or unsafe field conditions, games will be rescheduled to a Sunday later in the season

League communication regarding cancellations will be sent through the Playmetrics app

Yes we provide jerseys with numbers for all ages. Older age divisions will receive full uniform kit.

Every player must wear shin guards underneath their socks 

All players need a pair of cleats for games – no tennis shoes or metal cleats permitted

Yes! Parent volunteer coaches are a huge part of recreational soccer and help make the league possible.

Soccer experience is helpful but not required

U4/U5 games will have a practice/play format. Each team will have 15 minutes to practice before their 30-minute game. At this age attention spans are minimal and the focus is on a fun and engaging environment. 

U6 and above practices will be scheduled by each individual coach according to their own personal availability
